Two small fires contained in North County 

–Fire crews have contained two small fires that broke out Thursday in North County.

A 4-acre vegetation fire on the 3500 block of Las Pilitas in Santa Margarita and a 1/2 acre vegetation fire in the river bottom in San Miguel are now both contained and crews are doing a mop-up in the area. Cal Fire assisted local agencies with crews from the ground and air.
