Sanders flips San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara counties
Clinton still leads statewide

–Three counties in California have flipped in favor of Bernie Sanders in the California primary election when additional mail-in ballots were counted. After initial ballot counting that showed Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton in the lead, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Glenn counties now show Sanders leading after the counting of mail-in and provisional votes.
In San Luis Obispo County, Sanders currently holds 51.3-percent of the total votes, whereas Clinton has received 47.9-percent. Clinton still leads statewide, with 54.9-percent of the vote.

Large scale media outlets such as NBC and ABC are reporting that Clinton now has enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination, however Sanders’ reportedly said in a statement, “Secretary Clinton does not have and will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to secure the nomination. She will be dependent on superdelegates who do not vote until July 25 and who can change their minds between now and then.”
Presidential candidate Donald Trump has a substantial lead on the competition in the Republican primaries state wide, with 74.7-percent of the votes. Trump received 74.6-percent of the votes in the county.
