    Norma Moye honored for service to Paso Robles community

    –On Tuesday, June 14, the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association honored Norma Moye by celebrating her contributions to the community. Moye was presented with a proclamation by City of Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin and a plaque.

    Moye, who serves as the Executive Director of the association, has been a driving force in supporting and creating key Paso Robles institutions that celebrate and enhance the community, including: Bearcat Cheerleading, Band and Boosters, Pioneer Players, Pioneer Day Committee and the Barbary Coast Girls, the el Paso de Robles Historical Society and Paso Robles Cemetery District.

    Moye’s family, members of the association, city staff, Supervisor Frank Mecham and residents from the community all participated in this surprise celebration to thank Moye for her unwavering dedication to Paso Robles. Her impacts will be felt for generations to come.

    She will always be recognized as the backbone and key player within the community and admired for her sense of humor, work ethic, humility, can-do attitude and strength of character. Her dedication to the community has included numerous committees and the creation of annual events that have become cherished family traditions for generations of Paso Robles residents.

    The Paso Robles Main Street Association is committed to creating a downtown, which is the commercial, governmental and cultural entertainment destination of Paso Robles. The association is located at 835 12th Street #D, Paso Robles.
