Memorial service to be held for local radio personality 

Memorial for Joe Benson to be held in Creston June 25

–There will be a memorial service for former local radio personality Joe Benson who passed away recently in Oregon. The service will be on Saturday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 915 Creston Road, Paso Robles.

Joe was a well-known and beloved Paso Robles resident for many years, having served in many capacities as Master of Ceremonies, fundraiser, organizer and cheerleader for many local organizations. During his tenure at local radio station KPRL he was the voice and ears of the community, enthusiastically connecting people with people.
