Fire contained on Creston Road

–A fire that began early Thursday evening was contained in a little over an hour by Cal Fire Crews.

Fire crews responded to the vegetation fire at the 3200 block of Creston Road in South Paso Robles. The fire broke out shortly after 6 p.m. and caused a power outage in the area.

At 7:15 p.m., fire officials said the forward progress of the fire had been stopped; 10 acres were burned.
