Almond Country Quilt Guild to present Patrica Pepe
Pepe demonstrates how the X-blocks tool is used to make new quilt designs
–The Sept. 9 Almond Country Quilt Guild monthly meeting will include a presentation from local “Quilt Queen” Patricia Pepe at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 940 Creston Road in Paso Robles. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
Pepe will entertain the public with “X-blocks adventure tales,” while showing her inspiring collection of quilts. Pepe demonstrates how the X-blocks tool, color and value placement combines to create new designs from otherwise “ho-hum” quilt blocks.
Visitors are welcome to attend meetings. The guild has teachers and activities for both the new and experienced quilter.
