Owners of hounds should contact Short N’ Sweet Dog Rescue

–Two hound dogs were found in Cambria that are believed to have been escaping the Chimney Fire.

Their photo was posted to Short N’ Sweet Dog Rescue’s Facebook page with the following message,

“These two hounds showed up at my sister’s place above Cambria. Since she has never seen them around her very rural home she is guessing that perhaps they came across the hills fleeing from the fire at Lake nacimiento. Please everyone share this especially if you know people in the fire in area and let’s see if we can get them reunited with these two lovely hounds.”

The dog’s owners can contact Short N’ Sweet at (805) 674-1236 or email shortnsweet@rescuealliance.org.
