Organization seeks to bring stand up desks to local students
Fundraiser will be held at Broken Earth on Sept. 24
–The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District and local businesses are putting on a fundraiser to improve the lives of the 6,000 students that attend the school district. The Community Movement Project’s goal is to raise $2.7 million by 2020 to provide standing desks for all 6000 kids in the Paso Robles Unified School District.
These new desks are designed and proven to help improve health and promote a better quality of life. They have the ability to adjust to the height of each child.
A fundraiser will be held at Broken Earth Winery on Sept. 24. from 6 to 11 p.m. The event will feature appetizers, dinner, wine and beer, entertainment, a live and silent auction, and a raffle. 100-percent of proceeds will go to purchasing standing desks for the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.
