DUI checkpoint planned Saturday
–A DUI / Driver License checkpoint will be conducted this Saturday by Templeton CHP along with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department.
It will be happening on Sept. 24, at an undisclosed located somewhere in San Luis Obispo County.
“All too often, members of the community are senselessly injured of killed on our local roadways by intoxicated or unlicensed drivers,” said CHP Templeton Area Commander Lieutenant Scott Parker.
“Traffic volume permitting, all vehicles will be checked for drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or driving while unlicensed. Our objective is to send a clear message to those individuals who consider driving and mixing alcohol and/or drugs, or who drive while unlicensed, you will be caught and your vehicle will be towed away.”
