Body found in swimming pool of San Luis Bay Inn in Avila Tuesday

–On Tuesday, an 89-year-old man, now identified as Murrieta resident Leonardo Batris, was found dead in the swimming pool of the San Luis Bay Inn in Avila Beach, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.

An autopsy was performed Wednesday, and the cause of death is listed as fresh water drowning. Toxicology results are pending.
