Marylin Palla dies at 83

Marilyn and John were blessed with two beautiful girls, Sharon and Stacie. They were Marilyn’s main focus, while John managed the company. Marilyn was an avid tennis player well into her 70’s. It was only after having shoulder and knee surgery that she would eventually put down her racket. That being said, you could always find her looking for and watching televised professional matches. She absolutely enjoyed the game, her longtime association with her friends in the tennis league, and the events that they all shared.
Marilyn enjoyed traveling, but seemed most happy when at home experiencing life on the Central Coast. Whether it was spending time with family, having lunch with friends, wine tasting, enjoying the countless recreational opportunities, or just visiting their second home in Cambria; these were all things she particularly enjoyed.
Besides Marilyn’s obvious dedication to her husband, John, her girls, and family, she was also very dedicated to her longtime Paso friends and they were dedicated to her. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Williams (husband Jeff) and Stacie Westbrook (husband Tony); five grandchildren: Ryan Williams (wife Joy), Lindsey Williams, Kristin Bluth (husband Macky), Maura Westbrook, Gavin Westbrook; and four great-grandkids.
At Marilyn’s request, a graveside service will be held at the Paso Robles District Cemetery, Friday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, Paso Robles.
