Adoptable pet of the week: Dixie
–This week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week is Dixie, from North County Humane Society.
Dixie is a fluffy, 4-year-old Himalayan girl who has lived at NCHS for about 2 months. With striking Siamese colors, she was expected to be adopted quickly. But she is still waiting to find the right family to bring her home.
Dixie is friendly and playful, and she enjoys attention. She likes napping in cubby holes, romping around the room chasing toys, and she will sit still for a good brushing. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she is ready to go home with a new family today.
NCHS has a variety of cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
