Santa, police officers and firefighters to visit community
Santa and his helpers will visit community parks Dec. 19, 21
–The Paso Robles Police Department and Department of Emergency Services have announced that Santa Claus is making his way to Paso Robles in December. Santa and his merry band of police officers and firefighters will be visiting community parks on Dec. 19 and 21 as follows:
• Sherwood Park: Monday 12/19/16 from 6 – 7 p.m.
• Centennial Park: Monday 12/19/16 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
• Uptown Park: Wednesday 12/21/16 from 6 – 7 p.m.
• Downtown Park: Wednesday 12/21/16 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The community is encouraged to bring their families to meet Santa, and local public safety personnel, on these two special nights. Santa is asking families to donate canned food items and/or unwrapped toys to support local charities this holiday season. Donation bins will be available at each stop along Santa’s journey.
Children will be able to take photographs with Santa while community volunteers, police officers, and firefighters serve hot chocolate and giving away candy canes.
Santa’s visit has been funded, in part, by the Rotary Club of Paso Robles, Paso Robles Waste & Recycle, the Paso Robles Police and Firefighters Associations, Paso Robles Citizen Volunteer Patrol Program, and City Councilmen John Hamon and Steve Gregory.
