Mid-State Fair wins awards at convention

International Association of Fairs and Expositions Convention held in Las Vegas
– The California Mid-State Fair was the winner of several awards at the 2016 International Association of Fairs and Expositions annual gathering held in Las Vegas Nov. 27-30, 2016.
1st Place
1.) Get Crafty California: All new mixology competition combining California grown produce and craft spirits.
2.) Cattlemen & Farmers Day Photo: Photo by Brittany App.
3.) JB Dewar Tractor Restoration Program: Old and warn tractors are restored by high school students, being mentored by JB Dewar.
2nd Place
1.) Cattlemen’s Choice: Four bred heifers were selected by a committee of three SLO County Cattlemen as the outstanding pen.
3rd Place
1.) Print Ad: Featuring the 2016 Bud Light Concert Series.
2.) Front Row Instant Upgrade Promotion: One lucky winner at each concert was upgraded to front row seats with the Text-To-Win promotion.
The 2017 California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 – 30.
