Earthquake strikes near Hearst Castle 

3.1 magnitude earthquake strikes, no aftershocks recorded

– A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck 13km (8.08 miles) northeast of San Simeon at approximately 6:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to The U.S. Geological Survey.

There have been no aftershocks recorded by the U.S.G.S. or reports of injury or damage according to the sheriff’s dispatch office.
