Vineyard Dog Park hosting anniversary celebration
–Organizers of Vineyard Dog Park will host an anniversary celebration on Saturday, March 18 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at the dog park in honor of their 8th year of operations.
Coffee, pastries, and birthday cake will be served. Well behaved dogs off-leash are welcome at this event. Special guests will include Kathy Kropp of Good Dogs Companion Dog Training and Pinky Peterson, pet sitter. Board members will be available to answer questions regarding dog park operations and etiquette. This event is free and donations are appreciated.
The dog park opened in February 2009 due to the grass roots efforts of a small group of dedicated dog owners. The park is funded by donations and various fund raising events and is maintained by volunteers. Rain cancels this event.
