Update: One person killed in accident near Templeton

–The victim in the fatal accident Monday has been identified as 21-year-old Wacey Stockdale of Shandon.

–Templeton California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a solo vehicle traffic collision that involved one fatality. The accident occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Indian Camp Road. The driver was reportedly in a GMC Sonoma Pickup. The truck was found at the bottom of a steep ravine near a creek and the 21-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details are available at this time. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
