Hit and run reported in Atascadero

–On Wednesday at approximately 3:30 p.m., a hit and run was reported in Atascadero near the McDonald’s on Morro Road. Atascadero resident John Whitford said that a young blonde woman, possibly in her 20s, crashed into his car and drove off after he asked for her insurance. The car is described as a white, 2015-2017 Ford Edge with damage on the passenger side and missing some trim. She reportedly had two young children in the car.
