Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services host workshop

Paso Robles City Council conducted a workshop Wednesday night to discuss fire safety and emergency services in the community.

All five city councilmen, as well as several city officials and about 10 firefighters, joined interested members of the community at the Paso Robles Safety Center.

They looked at options for the city, including a third fire station to be built on the east side of Paso Robles. Right now, the Paso Robles Fire Department is looking for a Fire Chief, Battalion Chief and is short about five firefighters.

The workshop is intended to lay the groundwork for outlining the future for Fire and Emergency Services for the City of Paso Robles.
