Commercial structure fire reported on Commerce Way

–On Friday, August 11, 2017 the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to a commercial structure fire at Lindamar Industries 1603 Commerce Way.
Firefighters arrived at scene within 3 minutes and reported smoke showing from the rear of the building. Crews were able to stop the fire from extending beyond the original equipment and industrial ventilation system that were involved. The fire was contained within 18 minutes of dispatch and crews worked to overhaul and remove the involved ducting.
The business was occupied at the time of the fire and was able to evacuate and account for all of their employees. No civilian or firefighter injuries were injured.
Two engines and one Battalion Chief from Paso Robles responded. Through automatic aid agreements, two additional engines from Cal Fire and a ladder truck from Atascadero responded to assist.
The cause of the fire appears to have been the ventilation system.
