–This week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week is Mickey, from Woods Humane North County.
Mickey is a handsome, 7 year old brown tabby guy, and he has lived at the Woods Humane Society shelter in Atascadero for the last year and a half. He is friendly and loving, and he likes attention from visitors; he waits expectantly for you to sit with him and give head scratches.
Mickey needs a particularly special home. He has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), so he should live indoors as the only animal in the household. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is ready to go home today. Since he is FIV positive, Woods cannot provide a health guarantee, and Mickey’s adoption fees are waived.
