–Joyce Lew-Harrison passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions in Paso Robles on August 31, 2017. She was 89. Joyce was born in May, 1928, in Santa Monica California to her parents Clinton and Bernice Monson. She worked at Hughes Aircraft for many years before moving to SLO County, where she lived for a large part of her life. She was a restaurant manager in Templeton and a realtor in the north county.
She was very happy and active at Brookdale: playing games, watching movies, taking walks with friends, and even enjoying Zumba! She was a kind, giving, and compassionate person who loved all living things.
Joyce is survived by her son, Russell Lew; stepsons: Bret, Andy and Corbett Harrison; and three grandchildren. She also leaves behind her special advocates, companions, caregivers and friends, Jim and Marie Pope and Tim and Linda Ressler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Harrison; and her son, James Howe.
At Joyce’s request there will be no services.
