    Paso Cares warming shelter will be open Thursday night 


    –Paso Cares will open its Warming Station on the night of Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, as
    rain greater than 50-percent is forecast.

    The mission of Paso Cares is to undertake activities, in collaboration with other existing organizations of San Luis Obispo County, that will provide for the immediate and longer term needs of homeless and needy persons and families. The area of focus will primarily be in the City of Paso Robles, adjoining jurisdictions, and the North County.

    Persons desiring to stay at the Warming Station must be present at Peoples’ Kitchen (feeding site on the southwest corner of Riverside Avenue and 24th Street) at and no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017. Persons who desire to stay at the Warming Station will be screened for general sobriety, peaceful demeanor, and absence of being listed on the Megan’s Law register.
