Bearcat results for Dec. 2-9
Varsity Boys Basketball
The Bearcats lost to Foothill 77-61 on Dec. 7. Senior guard Sebastian Galsim scored 23 points, senior guard Griffin Betancourt scored 11 points, and freshman guard Braden Waterman scored seven points.
The team lost to Rosamond 54-46 on Dec. 8. Galsim scored 14 points, sophomore Cade Casida scored 12 points, freshman Devin Perez scored three points, seven rebounds, and four steals.
Varsity Girls Basketball
The Bearcats beat North Bakersfield 69-52 on Dec. 2. They lost to Clovis East 51-53 on Dec. 8. During the San Luis Obispo/Morro Bay tournament, the Bearcats lost to Nipomo 42-39 and to Independence 58-27 on Dec. 9.
Girls Water Polo
The varsity Bearcats beat Santa Ynez 9-8 on Dec. 7. Tatiana Smeltzer scored five goals, Aubrey Pasky scored two goals, Halle Nash scored one goal, Mackenzie Raymond scored one goal, and Finley Burns had a total of six saves.
The JV team lost 2-15 that night.
