San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office sending aid to Thomas Fire 

–The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in regards to providing mutual aid to help with the Thomas Fire evacuation efforts. This request came through the State Office of Emergency Services due to the aggressive nature of the fire on Sunday.

They are currently sending approximately 30 members from our agency and allied agencies from throughout the county. Those agencies include; San Luis Obispo Police Department, Atascadero Police Department, Pismo Beach Police Department, Grover Beach Police Department, Paso Robles Police Department, Cuesta Police Department.
