‘Stand up for America’ rally Feb 3 in San Luis Obispo 

–The San Luis Obispo County branch of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) will sponsor a rally on Feb 3 at the Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo. The theme is “Stand Up For America, Take a Knee For Equality and Justice for All.” The rally is scheduled from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Speakers, Booths, Food and Music will be featured throughout the program.

“Take A Knee” is about Social Justice. The NAACP mission is to ensure political, educational, social and economic equality regardless of race, sex, gender or religious beliefs.
