Fire burns Atascadero garage 

–On Saturday at approximately 8 p.m., Atascadero Fire Crews responded to a report of a house fire at 9500 Bella Casa Court in Atascadero. Crews found the garage of a two story townhome fully charged with smoke and fire. Once fire crews made access to the garage, it was determined to be a vehicle fire within the garage. Smoke and heat damage did spread to the garage and it’s contents.

Initially the exterior garage door was blocked by a passenger vehicle which created access problems for fire crews. No injuries were reported.

There was an estimated property value loss of $25,000 and a estimated content value loss of $25,000. The fire remains under investigation.
