    Bearcat sports results for Feb. 15-17 

    –Paso Robles High School Director of Athletics, Anthony Morales, has announced the results of Bearcat athletics for Feb. 15-17.

    Women’s Soccer

    On Thursday, Feb. 15, our women’s soccer team competed in the CIF Div. 4 1st round playoffs and came up short by losing 0-2 to Ventura High School. Our girls finished the season with an overall record of 15-7-3.

    Men’s Soccer

    On Friday, Feb. 16, our men’s soccer team competed in the CIF Div. 3 1st round playoffs and lost 0-5 to Newbury Park High School. Our boys finished the season with an overall record of 15-6-6.

    Wrestling

    On Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17, our student wrestling team sent 12 Bearcat wrestlers to Beaumont High School for the CIF Northern Division Tournament. Overall as a team, we finished in 8th place and we will be advancing five Bearcat wrestlers to the Masters this weekend in Temecula. They are:
    122 lbs. Dylan Maduena who finished third in CIF
    128 lbs. Porter Tanner who finished fourth in CIF
    140 lbs. Michael Dominguez who finished third in CIF
    154 lbs. Julian Madrigal who finished third in CIF
    172 lbs. Hunter Deverick who finished fifth in CIF.
    Please note: Austin Brenneman, Levi Lynch, Daede Murphy, Justin Clays, Ernie Trejo, Blake Haupt and Kyle Miller also helped contribute to our 8th place team finish.

    Spring Sports are starting Tuesday, Feb. 20. Our varsity men’s tennis team will be traveling to Morro Bay High School and JV men’s tennis will be hosting Morro Bay. Good luck to all.
