Adult Coloring Club meets at the Paso Robles Library

–De-stress and practice mindfulness by participating in the Library’s Adult Coloring Club on Thursday, May 10, 6-8 p.m. Why would adults want to color? Engaging in activities such as coloring can contribute to your well-being; by providing quiet and focus, coloring reduces stress by stimulating the part of the brain that causes relaxation. The process of coloring has been found to have the same therapeutic qualities as meditation. Joining a coloring group adds a social aspect to the mix.

All materials are provided free of charge; avid colorists are welcome to bring their own projects. The Library’s Adult Coloring Club meets monthly throughout the year. For more information, call Karen Christiansen at (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
