Letter: Attend Earth Day Fair and Music Festival April 21
To the editor,
I’m writing to encourage North County residents to attend the Earth Day Fair and Music Festival April 21st at Laguna Lake Park in San Luis Obispo. Now in its 28th year, this fair is one of the most important and enjoyable events our county has to offer. As a 25-year resident of North County, I know lots of people have never even heard of this long-running event. What a shame! A wide variety of people and businesses make Earth Day special, from inventive entrepreneurs who are leading the way in green technologies, to politicians, to fans of the local music scene and to families who just want to get out and do something fun and free on a beautiful day.
This year’s move from El Chorro Regional Park to Laguna Lake Park in SLO makes it even easier for those of us north of Cuesta Grade to enjoy the fair. If you’re would like to connect with organizations who are working to preserve the environment, or if you want to come lay in the sun and listen to great music, Earth Day Fair and Music Festival is the place to be.
