Bearcat vs Royals swim meet results

—On Senior Day at the Paso Robles Municipal pool, the Swim and Dive Team recognized Captain Gavin Hughes, Zachary Tucker, John Nash, and Keeliah Keelan for their commitment to the Bearcats.
Unfortunately, due to the outdated facilities we were only able to swim two swimmers per event, but despite this there were some bright spots. Ethan Moore dropped three seconds in the 200 free, Morgan Harrington dropped six in the butterfly, and freshman Carlotta Abascal dropped seven seconds in the 500.
Today was also the final swim meet at the Muni pool, as the construction of the new pool is underway. Our announcer today was Ed Sauret, my father, and a swimmer on the very first swim team in 1964 and announced our final meet today. We look forward to many more memories at the new Aquatics Complex, including being able to host our rivals Atascadero for the first time in six years.
Final score was Varsity Girls: Mission 19 – Paso 78; Varsity Boys: Mission 33 – Paso 67.
