    Paso Robles Police Department welcomes new officer

    – The Paso Robles Police Department announced the appointment of a new police officer, Joshua Lewis. City Manager Tom Frutchey administered the Oath of Office to Officer Lewis during a Wednesday afternoon ceremony held at City Hall.

    Officer Lewis is a longtime resident of the North County, having attended both Templeton High School and Cuesta College. After college, Officer Lewis decided to follow in his Father and Grandfather’s footsteps and become a police officer. Officer Lewis formerly worked for the Los Angeles Police Department and attended the LAPD police academy in 2015.

    Officer Lewis’ hiring brings the Paso Robles Police Department’s staffing to 34 officers. The City of Paso Robles is currently seeking qualified applicants for upcoming appointments as Police Officer Recruits. To apply visit: www.prcity.com/Jobs
