Library hosting world crafts program series for children ages 7-12

    Paso Robles City Council Chambers/Library.

—Following this year’s Summer Reading Program theme of “Reading Takes You Everywhere,” the Children’s Library is hosting a weekly craft inspired by countries from around the world, beginning June 19.

“Each week, we will travel to a different country and explore a new culture through crafting,” says Youth Services Melissa Bailey. “From Japanese block printing to Italian paper quilling, children will see the world through traditional art forms.”

The program is free, but tickets are required. They are available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the program. Space is limited to the first 30 children 7-12 years of age.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit prcity.com/library.
