Paso Robles Joint Unified School District hosting open houses
– Several schools in the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District (PRJUSD) will be hosting open house events on Tuesday, May 15. Parents and community members are invited to attend and learn more about the various programs being offered at the high school level.
The Paso Robles Online (PRO) Academy will host an open house from 5 – 6 p.m. at its location within Independence High School at 812 Niblick Road. The PRO Academy is a free, online public school program for students in grades 6-12 who are seeking a personalized alternative to the traditional classroom setting. A tour of the school will begin at 5:15 p.m. followed by an informative presentation at 5:30 p.m. For more information regarding The PRO Academy, please contact Alisha Lewis at ajlewis@pasoschools.org.
Classrooms at Independence High School and Liberty High School will be open from 5 – 6 p.m. Teachers will be available to answer questions and student work will be on display.
Paso Robles High School will open its doors from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Open house is a celebration of the school year and features student work along with performances by the jazz band, wind ensemble, choir, drama, and dance. The league champion stunt team will hold a demonstration in the gym, various student organizations will have information booths, and counselors will be on hand to answer questions. The grand opening of the PRHS Student Store will also take place that evening beginning at 5:30. Food will be available for purchase.
