Lady Bearcats defeat the Greyhounds in the pool 

–The Lady Bearcats women’s water polo team faced off against the Atascadero Greyhounds last night to start league play. The ladies finished the game winning 16-1. Six different Bearcats scored in the contest. Tatiana Smeltzer had a team-leading 8 goals in the game. Halle Nash and Torri Pugh were both multi-goal scorers with 3 and 2. Gabby Clayton, Aubrey Pasky, and Mackenzie Raymond rounded out the scoring and each had one goal respectively.

The Bearcats move to 2-0 (1-0 in the league).

The Ladies go to Tulare Union High School this weekend for tournament play. They will play Sunnyside and Mission Oak Friday.

JV won their game 7-5.
