Bearcats Cross Country Team competes in Arroyo Grande
–The Bearcats Cross Country Team traveled to Talley Fields Saturday for their first meet of the season and competed in the Greg DeNike Big Ditch Invitational hosted by Arroyo Grande (2.5miles).
Junior/Senior Boys had a strong showing combining the top five times from all the races, the Paso Boys had the fastest team time of the day edging Ventura by 7 seconds. Finishing in top 10 were Pablo Cortes in 3rd place (13:05), Damien Gavilan close behind in 4th place (13:06) and Steven Scruggs in 6th place (13:15).
Junior/Senior Girls also ran well with the 3rd best team time behind Ventura and Alta Loma. The Bearcats fastest with times under 17:00 were Jasmine Rangel placed 9th with a time of 16:35, Madeline Loff 16:39 and Grace Chamberlain 16:58.
