Paso Robles football beats Pioneer Valley 

–The Paso Robles Bearcats beat Pioneer Valley 21-7 Friday night in Santa Maria. The Bearcats improve to 2-3 for the season. They take on Sanger next Friday Night at War Memorial Stadium. Sanger is 3-1.

The Atascadero Greyhounds lost to Redwood High School in Visalia, 48-14. The Grehounds fall to 0-4. They travel to Santa Maria next Friday night to play at Pioneer Valley.

The Templeton Eagles lost at home to Liberty of Madera 67-27. Quarterback Jack Trimble threw for 160 yards and three touchdown passes for the Eagles. Marino D’Alfonso caught 10 passes for just over 100 yards, including a spectacular one-handed catch. The Eagles fall to 1-3. Next Friday the Eagles travel south to Santa Ynez to take on the Pirates.
