Paso Robles football loses to Righetti 

–Paso Robles Bearcats football opened conference play with a loss to Righetti 52-20 Friday night. The Warriors improve to 6-1. The Bearcats fall to 2-5, 0-1 in the conference. They host Arroyo Grande next Friday night. The Eagles are now 5-2.

The Templeton Eagles beat Morro Bay 41-14 Friday night to capture their rivalry plaque. Eagles Sr. quarterback Jack Trimble threw for over 100 yards in the game. With the win, Coach Tyler Lane’s Eagles opened Ocean League play with a victory. Nipomo and Pioneer Valley are also 1-0 in the Ocean League play. Nipomo beat Santa Maria 38-7. Pioneer Valley beat San Luis Obispo 24-7.

The Atascadero Greyhounds lost to Royal in Simi Valley 24-19. The Greyounds fall to 0-6
