Local couple to share travel experience cycling the Danube

–On Thursday, Nov. 1, 6-7:30 p.m., join local traveling couple Karen MacLaurin and Mike Cussen on another great bicycling adventure – this time around Europe. Their 1,000-mile (more or less) bicycling trek along the Danube River began in Ulm, Germany, south of Frankfurt, and ended two months later in Belgrade, Serbia. In between, they enjoyed amazing cathedrals and castles, met interesting people, stayed in Airbnb lodgings, and rode through beautiful fields of corn, wheat, and sunflowers.

Bicyclists and armchair travelers alike will enjoy this travel talk. For more information, contact Karen Christiansen at (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
