Women’s water polo beats San Luis Obispo

–Lady Bearcats faced off with the SLO Tigers in their last home game of the season. This game was the Bearcats Senior night and nine seniors were honored. Two-time captain and four-year varsity letter Mackenzie Raymond, four-year varsity letter/starter Aubrey Pasky, three-year varsity letter Emily Christian and Finley Burns, two-year varsity letter Yalina Curry and Torri Pugh, one-year varsity letter Roxy Hancock, Jaymie Throop, and Italian Foreign Exchange Student Flaminia DiChello.
The Bearcats finished the game, winning 20-5. Raymond and Tatiana Smeltzer each had 5 goals in the game. Pugh and Pasky each had 3. Halle Nash had 2, Curry and Burns each had one apiece.
The Lady Bearcats move to 5-2 in league and 18-8 on the season. They play Righetti next week to attempt to secure second in the league on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
