Warming station will remain open through Nov. 18 

–Paso Cares‘ Warming Station will be open on Monday night, Nov. 12 and remain open through the night of Sunday, Nov. 18. They will continue to check the weather regularly, and based on long-term forecasts, may be open through the end of November. The next decision on opening will be made on Thursday, Nov. 15.

Persons desiring to stay at the warming station must appear at Peoples’ Kitchen, 2345 Riverside Avenue (southwest corner of 24th Street and Riverside Avenue), Paso Robles no later than 5 p.m. on the evening that they wish to stay at the Warming Station (held at a different location every night). Exception: On Sunday nights, Persons desiring to stay at the Warming Station must appear at Peoples’ Kitchen no later than 4 p.m. Paso Cares has arranged for Ride-On transportation to and from the warming station sites (5 different churches on a rotating basis) and Peoples’ Kitchen.

Persons desiring to stay at the warming station will be evaluated for appropriate behavior and general sobriety; persons listed on the Megan’s Law Register may not stay at the warming station.
