Purchase poinsettias from PRHS girls’ soccer players
Annual fundraiser helps team with various expenses
The players on the Paso Robles High School girls’ varsity soccer team are selling florist-quality red poinsettias just in time for holiday decorating. According to team manager Kathy Mott, proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards tournaments fees and also for purchasing spirit packs for the players.
“This is a great group of girls and they love playing soccer,” said Mott. “The community has been very supportive of our poinsettia fundraiser in past years and we hope everyone will consider purchasing a plant again this holiday season.”
The players on the PRHS girls’ soccer team, pictured with their coaches after conditioning earlier this week, are selling poinsettias to raise funds for their upcoming 2013-14 season.
Plants are available for purchase at $10 apiece and sales continue through Nov. 18. Each poinsettia is planted in a 6-inch pot with a decorative cover and will be available for pick up on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the PRHS Activity Center near the front of the school at 801 Niblick Rd.
