Bearcats soccer team defeated by Atascadero

–Last night in Bearcat soccer the Bearcats were defeated by Atascadero in an over time penalty shoot out. After finishing 2-2 in regular time to game went into 20 minutes of overtime play. Neither team was able to score so it came down to PK’s. Both team made their first 5 PK’s and on the 6 shoot Atascadero’s Gk came up with the save to win the game.

Jr. Jordan Bullard scored the Bearcats 1st goal in the 2nd minute of the game assisted by Sr. Madison Wineman. In the 45 minute Sr. Elise Scheiffele scored the 2nd goal for the Bearcats. Sr. Goal keeper Magaly Avila had 15 saves to keep the Bearcats in the game. The Bearcats are currently 1-2 in League and 8-6 overall.
