Body of missing person found
–On Jan. 4, members of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff‘s Search and Rescue Team along with the assistance of State Parks Rangers located the body of 20-year-old Michael Kullman. He was found deceased in a remote area of Montana de Oro State Park. At this time, investigators do not believe foul play is suspected.
Kullman was reported missing on Jan. 3. His vehicle was spotted at Montana de Oro State Park and a search was begun at approximately 4:30 p.m. with the Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team, State Parks Rangers and the CHP. They searched through the night before locating Kullman. Next of kin have been notified.
This investigation is continuing. No further information is available at this time.
