Bearcats sports update
–The Paso Robles Bearcat boys basketball team came from behind to beat St. Joseph Thursday night at Gil Asa Gym. The Knights jumped out to a 32-18 lead in the first quarter, but the Bearcats outscored the Knights in each of the following quarters to win 87-84. The Bearcats improve to 2-6 in conference, 9-14 overall. They will host Mission College Prep at 1:15 Saturday afternoon at Gil Asa Gym.
The Paso Robles girls basketball team travels Friday to Arroyo Grande. They take on the Eagles at 6:45 Friday evening.
The Paso Robles boys soccer team hosts Pioneer tonight at War Memorial Stadium. That match begins at 6 Friday evening. On Tuesday night, the Bearcats lost to Santa Maria 4-0.
The Paso Robles girls soccer team beat Arroyo Grande 2-1 in overtime Thursday night at War Memorial Stadium. The Bearcats improve to 5-5 in conference, 12-9 overall. They host St. Joseph on Tuesday.
