Local woman dies after driving car off private driveway
–Debra Lynne Jones, a 61-year-old resident of Paso Robles, lost her life after driving her car off her her private driveway off of Cemetery Road in Paso Robles, according to California Highway Patrol.
On Thursday, at approximately 5:35 p.m. hours Jones was driving her Mercedes on her own private driveway located off of Cemetery Road.
Her vehicle traveled to the left of the driveway for unknown reasons. As a result, the vehicle rolled down a 300 foot dirt and grass embankment rolling over several times.
She was ejected from the vehicle just prior to the vehicle coining to rest at the bottom of the embankment. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
This crash is still under investigation. DUI has not been ruled out as a cause to this crash, according to CHP.
