Paso Robles coffee shops and bakeries ranked highest and lowest in food safety inspections
The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department’s Food Safety Program periodically inspects local food establishments and publishes the results to EatSafeSLO for public review.
The purpose of this program is to help prevent foodborne illnesses by promoting the safe preparation, production and service of food in hygienic, properly equipped and maintained food facilities. Any operation that stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends, or otherwise provides food intended for human consumption to the general public, must be conducted within an approved food facility.
EatSafeSlo allows the public to view food facility inspection results online. Food facilities include restaurants, bars, retail food markets, public and private school cafeterias, farm stands, bed and breakfast establishments, or other food service locations where food intended for human consumption is provided to the general public.
