    Volunteers needed for earth day clean up at Montana de oro

    Volunteers needed

    –State Parks is seeking volunteers to help-out with the Islay Campground Trash and Recycle Bin location project at Montana de Oro State Park, this coming Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    This will be the 21st year that the Earth Day Restoration and Clean-up event has been hosted by the California State Parks Foundation.

    All volunteers are welcome. Volunteers should come prepared to work outside with appropriate sun and clothing protection as well as refillable water bottles. All tools and equipment needed for the work will be supplied. Morning coffee and snacks will be provided by Pete’s Coffee and Fruit Guys and afternoon sandwiches by Subway.

    To volunteer please register at www.calparks.orq/earthday or in-person on the 13th at 8:30 a.m. at the Spooner’s Ranch House at Montana de Oro.
