Letter: Overton a phenomenal replacement for principal
Dear editor,
Regarding the naming of a new principal at PRHS, (“Anthony Overton named Paso Robles High School Principal,” published March 18), I agree that Overton is a phenomenal replacement. As a new PRHS student coming from Morro Bay, I have seen both the roles Mr. Martinez held as former principal and Mr. Overton’s developing fulfillment of the position. I have seen Mr. Overton lead discussions for senior meetings, talk individually with students, and respond rapidly to comments or concerns. Mr. Overton has had history as a teacher himself and from friends who had him in the past, I know he cares and wants to connect with students. I strongly believe that Mr. Overton will continue to be an outstanding leader at PRHS and should be given a warm welcome into his position.
