Tackitt Family Vineyards raises $52k for EOD Warrior Foundation
–Tackitt Family Vineyards recently announced that they raised more than $52,000 for the EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF) during their eighth annual Warriors Helping Warriors event, and more than $4,000 for the eleventh annual Wine 4 PAWS event over the past two weekends.
EOD stands for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, the military’s bomb squad. Tackitt Family Vineyards produces a line of wines they call EOD Cellars that benefits the EODWF. For the last eight years, military members and friends of the EOD community have come together to support the foundation by helping to bottle this very special label.
“We are extremely proud to have been able to put on such events and raise so much money for the EOD Warrior foundation and of course for our fur babies,” said Leon Tackitt. “It’s also the businesses and neighbors of Paso Robles who step up to sponsor us that enable us to raise such amount.”
